UI Health Specialty Care Building Receives Awards and Accolades

The new Specialty Care Building (SCB) was honored by the Chicago Building Congress (CBC) at an award ceremony on May 11, 2023. The CBC has a stated mission to recognize and celebrate buildings that enhance the economic, aesthetic and social environment in our community, and the SCB and Pepper Construction were recognized with a Merit Award in the healthcare category. On June 1, the SCB was also honored at the Illinois REJournal 2023 Real Estate Award ceremony, receiving an award in the category of Medical Property.
