Top Ranked Health Sciences Programs
UIC’s health sciences colleges harness the collective expertise of our faculty and researchers to elevate the healthcare and community services we provide to patients across the state and beyond. Prominent national rankings for UIC health sciences programs affirm the caliber of training, discovery, and care that happens through the dynamic integration of our UI Health network.
According to U.S. News & World Report’s 2025 national rankings of graduate schools, the College of Applied Health Sciences occupational therapy program ranked 3rd nationally. The College of Nursing’s midwifery program ranked 15th, and their doctor of nursing practice and nursing master’s degree programs both ranked 17th nationally. Additionally, graduate-level disciplines in the School of Public Health tied for 22nd.
U.S. News & World Report also ranked UIC as #3 nationally for online bachelors’ programs, reflecting the excellence of three particular online programs, two of which are health sciences programs: the College of Applied Health Sciences’ Health Information Management program, and the College of Nursing’s RN to BSN completion program.
