College of Medicine Peoria Engages with Community and Middle Schoolers

Medical students in the Urban Medicine Program of the University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria staffed a table during the Hidden Peoria tour sponsored by the Peoria Historical Society.

The students shared information on eye health as well as shared information on Mini Medical School, an outreach effort with Peoria District 150 middle school students.

The campus also welcomed 100 guests as part of Hidden Peoria tours throughout the day, telling the UICOMP story of how we’re training tomorrow’s physicians today.
